Meal planning for children may sound like a simple way for a parent to skip out on cooking a dinner while sounding responsible. However, it's a multifaceted strategy to prepare your child for the future financially and domestically.
Part one will consist of just planning the meal itself. The complexity of this project is easily adapted based on the age of the child. Decisions need to be made for this project before anything else is done. Learning to plan, prepare and think through a process (rather than rushing into something) is valuable in all aspects life, especially financial well-being.
At the end of Part 1, your child should have a meal planned, date scheduled and a shopping list ready to go for Part 2.
